POSITIVE LIPS / AFFIRMATION 01

I AM ENOUGH

Self-Worth

You don’t have to prove your worth or become someone different to matter. You are worthy of love, kindness, and belonging exactly as you are today.

CHOOSE IT. STICK IT. LIVE IT. PASS IT ON.

FIND YOUR PERSPECTIVE

ONE AFFIRMATION. THREE WAYS TO GROW.

THE FOUNDATION

START HERE.

You don’t have to prove your worth or become someone different to matter. You are worthy of love, kindness, and belonging exactly as you are today.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

MAKE IT YOURS.

Your worth isn’t measured by how you look, how many people like you, your grades, your accomplishments, or whether you fit in. You don’t have to earn your place by becoming who other people want you to be. Keep growing, but know that who you are right now is already worthy of respect, kindness, and belonging.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

GO A LITTLE DEEPER.

You are more than what you produce, accomplish, own, or how others perceive you. When you stop measuring your worth against an ever-moving standard, you create space to simply be. Growth can come from love rather than dissatisfaction. You can desire change without believing you are incomplete.

YOUR MOMENT TO REFLECT ✳

Can I want more for myself without believing I need more to be worthy?

I AM BRAVE

Confidence & Courage

Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t scared. It means you can feel afraid, unsure, or nervous and still choose to take the next step.

THE FOUNDATION

BRAVE DOESN’T MEAN FEARLESS.

Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t scared. It means you can feel afraid, unsure, or nervous and still choose to take the next step.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOU CAN BE NERVOUS AND BRAVE.

Courage isn’t always loud or fearless. Sometimes it’s walking into a room where you feel uncomfortable, trying something you might fail at, standing up for someone, admitting you were wrong, or being yourself when it would be easier to blend in.

You can be nervous and brave at the same time.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

COURAGE IS A PRACTICE.

Courage is not the absence of uncertainty. It is your willingness to remain present when the outcome is unknown.

Fear often asks you to retreat into what is familiar; awareness allows you to notice fear without automatically obeying it.

You can acknowledge fear, breathe, and still move toward what matters.

YOUR MOMENT TO REFLECT ✳

What would I choose today if fear could speak, but didn't get the final decision?

Strength isn’t about never struggling. Sometimes strength looks like trying again, asking for help, resting when you need it, or getting back up after a hard day.

STRENGTH HAS MANY SHAPES.

Strength isn’t about never struggling. Sometimes strength looks like trying again, asking for help, resting when you need it, or getting back up after a hard day.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOU CAN STRUGGLE AND STILL BE STRONG.

You don’t have to pretend something doesn’t hurt to be strong.

Real strength is knowing when to keep going, when to step away, when to ask for help, and when to give yourself time to recover.

Hard things can affect you without defining you. You are allowed to struggle and still believe in your ability to move forward.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

STRENGTH IS ALSO KNOWING WHEN TO REST.

Strength does not always mean pushing harder. Sometimes strength is softening, resting, releasing control, changing direction, or admitting that something hurts.

A tree survives the storm not only because it is rooted, but because it can move with the wind.

Your ability to bend does not diminish your strength.

YOUR MOMENT TO REFLECT ✳

Does this moment require effort — or restoration?

IT'S OKAY TO LISTEN TO YOURSELF.

It’s okay to listen to yourself. You can make choices that protect your peace, honor your values, and take care of who you are—even when others choose differently.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIT IN TO BELONG.

There will be times when fitting in feels easier than listening to yourself.

Pay attention to the part of you that knows when something doesn’t feel right.

You are allowed to choose friendships, decisions, and environments that respect who you are.

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you only care about yourself—it means you don’t abandon yourself to gain someone else’s approval.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

LISTEN TO YOUR INNER WISDOM.

There is a quiet wisdom beneath expectations, comparison, obligation, and the identities you have collected over time.

Choosing yourself means becoming quiet enough to hear it.

You can care deeply for others without continually abandoning your own needs, values, and truth.

YOUR MOMENT TO REFLECT ✳

Is this truly what I want—or what I have learned to believe I should want?

EVERY STEP HELPS YOU GROW.

You don’t have to know everything or get everything right the first time.

Mistakes, practice, and hard moments are all part of becoming who you are meant to be.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOU ARE STILL BECOMING.

You are still figuring out who you are, and you are supposed to be.

You will make mistakes, change your mind, struggle with things, and discover parts of yourself you didn’t know were there.

A mistake tells you something about a choice—not everything about who you are.

Learn from it, repair what you can, and keep becoming.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CHANGE.

You are not required to remain the person you once needed to be.

Growth sometimes means adding something new, but often it means releasing old identities, defenses, relationships, expectations, and patterns that no longer serve you.

You are allowed to change without rejecting the person you were before.

YOUR MOMENT TO REFLECT ✳

What am I holding onto simply because it is familiar?

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOUR VOICE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE LOUDEST TO MATTER.

You don’t have to stay quiet just to keep everyone else comfortable.

Your feelings, ideas, questions, and concerns deserve space.

You can disagree respectfully. You can ask for what you need. You can tell a trusted adult when something feels wrong.

Your voice doesn’t have to be the loudest in the room to matter.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

SPEAK WITH TRUTH AND COMPASSION.

Your words carry energy into the world.

Speak what is true, but remember that truth does not require cruelty.

Your voice can be both strong and compassionate.

Sometimes wisdom means speaking. Sometimes it means listening. Sometimes it means refusing to participate in words that cause unnecessary harm.

YOUR WORDS MATTER.

Every word we choose has the potential to encourage, empower, connect, or create change.

Positive Lips is a reminder to choose words with intention — for ourselves and for others.

You are allowed to have boundaries.

Saying no doesn’t make you mean or difficult.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOUR BOUNDARIES DESERVE RESPECT.

You are allowed to set boundaries with your body, your friendships, your time, your phone, and your personal space.

Someone being disappointed by your boundary doesn’t automatically mean your boundary is wrong.

Healthy relationships make room for both people to have limits.

You can be kind without saying yes to everything.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

BOUNDARIES ARE AN ACT OF CLARITY.

A boundary is not a punishment. It is clarity about where you end and another person begins.

Compassion does not require unlimited access to your energy.

You can love someone and still say no.

You can understand someone and still disagree.

You can forgive and still choose distance.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOUR FEELINGS ARE INFORMATION, NOT INSTRUCTIONS.

Anger, embarrassment, jealousy, sadness, anxiety, and frustration are information—not instructions.

You don’t have to ignore what you feel, but you also don’t have to react to every feeling immediately.

Pause. Breathe. Figure out what the emotion is trying to tell you.

Then decide what response represents the person you want to be.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

FEEL THE EMOTION WITHOUT BECOMING IT.

An emotion can be fully experienced without becoming your identity.

Instead of saying, “I am angry,” notice, “anger is here.”

Instead of immediately reacting, observe what is happening in your body.

Breathe. Create space between the feeling and your response.

Emotions move. You do not have to make permanent decisions from temporary states.

FOR TEENS AGES 12–15

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGURE IT ALL OUT AT ONCE.

Some situations won’t have an easy answer, and you won’t always know what to do right away.

You don’t have to solve the whole problem at once.

Focus on the next choice you can make.

Use what you know, ask for help when you need it, and remember that one difficult moment isn’t your whole story.

You are capable of getting through hard things one step at a time.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

FOCUS ON WHAT IS YOURS TO DO.

You cannot control every outcome, prevent every loss, or guarantee that life unfolds according to your plans.

You can control how intentionally you meet what arrives.

Release the demand to know the entire path.

Return to this breath, this choice, this moment.

Then take the next right step.
